In this age of overwhelming information, we look far into the future yet rarely pause to observe our own thoughts. This work uses the falling toothpaste foam as a metaphor, turning those fleeting inner feelings into actions we can sense and acknowledge.
It is an inward journey—an invitation to open up and wait for the wind. Whether the waters are “calm” or “stormy,” may we start from our genuine experiences and arrive together at a place of ease.

Through the artwork, viewers will recognize the strong connection between the stomach and emotions, and they will experience a sense of anxiety regarding stomach health.
Prescription comes from my personal experience, as I have suffered from stomach problems since childhood. My mother took me to various legitimate or non-legitimate treatments, but none of them were effective. From my childhood perspective, every treatment seemed as ridiculous and terrifying as the ones portrayed in the performances. I also constantly wondered if there was a cure, and I believe the answer is yes.

The purpose of Mr./Mrs. Stomach is to arouse people's attention to their own stomach and stimulate the audience's thinking about the relationship between stomach and emotions. The work is inspired by one question: What role does the stomach play in the management of emotions? The stomach is like a mirror, reflecting the changes of people's emotions.

In the future, the project uses RNAi technology so that mosquitoes will not be digested after feeding on blood. The blood will be extracted again and centralized in the blood center for further processing for medical donation. We named this project "Blood for Blood".
